Reality Fracture joins Canonic on October 2, 2026.
It qualifies, so it enters, on the release date Wizards published. Nobody votes on it and nobody approves it.

Accounts, events and pairings
When these systems open, anyone will be able to run an event and publish its results.
A Friday night with friends counts under the same event-size rules as a store tournament of the same size. Weight comes from how many people played.

Playing in the browser
A rules engine is being built to resolve the game itself rather than scripting individual cards by hand.
Today it runs a two-player game with both seats on the same screen. Network play is the next step.
The aim is an engine that knows enough of the rules that most cards need no code of their own.

Modern Horizons stays out. Once a month, it does not.
The Horizons sets do not enter Canonic. Once a month, however, a dedicated event will temporarily add several Horizons cards to the pool for testing.
The list will be short. Candidates are chosen for two reasons: whether their power level fits what Standard and Modern already establish, and whether they create interactions or synergies that the current pool cannot produce.
Not every Horizons card is broken. Anyone can suggest a card for the next test.
Some cards will never be on it. Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer. Wrenn and Six. Prismatic Ending. Unholy Heat. The free Elementals. The Force cycle. They are the power level Canonic exists without, and a test event is not the way back in.
The test events do not change the permanent pool. A card can become permanently legal only if the testing supports it, the community supports it, and the card is admitted individually, with the reasoning published.
Universes Beyond is out for a different reason: what the format is, rather than how strong the cards are. No test event can reach it.
